For our first wedding anniversary, we spent a week in Canada, exploring the Van City and Whistler! We’ve been wanting to spend spring in Japan but they’re still not open to tourists due to the pandemic. I didn’t want to go too far either as we only had a week of vacation. So JP suggested Canada, a country we haven’t been to yet! Also, he’s been obsessed with snowboarding and wanted to go to Whistler.

I did some quick research on Vancouver and read they are the sushi capital of North America – that pretty much convinced me to go. Plus, the flights were not too expensive and they have their cherry blossoms also!

We all have some sort of list of things we would like to do before we die, either you have them written down somewhere or kept in your mental notes. Things like traveling around the world, visiting the Seven Wonders, learning a new language, skydiving, etc. We all have that list and that list we commonly call our “bucket list”. Where did the term bucket come from anyway?
